The items in sections 1, 3-6, 12, 13, 14, 21, 25, together with Par/118/2/1-4; 7/1-9; 8/1; 30/1,2; 31/3 and 40/1 were deposited by the incumbent, November 1955, October 1961, February and August 1965, May 1972, August 1972, and July 1999.

Par/118/2/5 was presented by Dr. G.E. Shaw of Lancing, October 1985.

Par/118/7/10-12 was deposited by Mrs. L. Badcock of Lancing, June 1971.

Par/118/7/14 and Par/118/7/15 were presented by the County Librarian, February 1987 and subsequently.

Par/118/20/3 is a copy made by the West Sussex Record Office, April 1948.
