The Union Waterloo Lodge No. 13 was established in 1761. The lodge was held in the Royal Artillery and met at the Salutation, Beresford, Woolwich, London. Until 1788 the lodge was No. 86 but on hearing that warrant No. 7 was dormant they purchased it for 5 pounds and 5 shillings. In 1826 the lodge united with Lodge No. 288 held in the First Battalion Royal Artillery, which met at the Red Lion, Mulgrave Place, London and with the Royal Marine Lodge No. 418, which met at the Prince Regent, King Street. After uniting the lodge was named the Union Waterloo Lodge. In 1889 the lodge moved from London to Plumbstead, Kent, meeting at the Freemasons' Hall, Mount Pleasant. The lodge now meets at Dartford Masonic Hall, West Hill, Dartford.
