Proceedingsof General Court Martial for trial of Capt Dixon, No 6 (Reserve) Btn, MGC, an officer of the regular forces:
1) Concerned in care of public money, fraudulently misapplying the same in that at Belton Park, Grantham between 10/5/19 -23/5/19 when OC 15 (Reserve) Coy of No 6 (Res) Bn, applied the sum of £45.5.11d to his own use with intent to defraud
2) behaving in a scandalous manner unbecoming an officer, in that he, at Belton Park, on or about 7/5/1919 in payment of a Mess Account, gave the President of the Officers Mess of 3(Res) Btn MGC a cheque for £11.15.0 on Messrs Holts, well knowing that he had insufficient funds in the hands of his agents to meet the cheque and having no reasonable grounds for supposing that the cheque would be honoured.
3)A similar charge under Section 16 relating to a cheque for £5 on Holts, given at Grantham to London Joint City and Midland Bank Ltd, 88 Westgate, Grantham in exchange for cash.
4) A similar charge given at Grantham to Mrs SE Dickenson of the Red Lion Hotel in exchange for cash
5) A similar matter regarding a cheque for £3 given at Grantham on 22/5/1919 to J Fillingham, Westgate, Grantham for cash
6) A similar cheque for £2 to the same person on 25/5/1919 for cash
7) Absented himself without leave from Belton Park from 1200 26th May 1919 until arrested by the DAPM London District on 6th August 1919
8) Drunkeness in that he, at the Empire Theatre, London, at 2200 hrs on 6/8/1919 was drunk.

Accused pleaded not guilty to 1st charge, guilty to the 2nd, not guilty to the 3rd and guilty to the remainder. 1st charge not confirmed.
Sentence: to be cashiered.

disability: gsw in action - middle finger,right hand - now practically recovered. Scar tender - hand weak. Dead bone removed from wounded finger. Finger is nearly fixed - only slight movement of distal joint. Much periostitis and is in debilitated condition health-wise. Tachycardia and dyspepsoea on any exertion. Hit by shell splinter - passed through causing flesh would only. Dorsal surface.
