Documents deposited via West Sussex Record Office (2-4 below), 31 March 1981 (ACC 2676) and 3 June 1987 (ACC 4849) and deposited with the Sussex Archaeological Society in 1934 and 1935 and transferred by the Society, 21 June 1982 (ACC 3180, 1 below)

In 1934 and 1935 Mr Wishart deposited a group of documents with the Sussex Archaeological Society which were listed as L146-169. In 1981 and 1987 those parts of his deposit at WSRO which relate to East Sussex were transferred to this office. From the endorsements and from comparison with the catalogue, it is clear that most of these documents originally appeared in Moulton's sale catalogue Palaeography, Genealogy and Topography (1930, for which see Sussex Family Historian 4.169-174)
In Mar 1985 SAS/L146-156 and 159-169 were transferred to WSRO where they are listed as Add Mss 37,080-37,082 and 37,089-37,107, and in Jul 1987 SAS/L157 was transferred to Hampshire Record Office
