Survey shows coastline, hydrography, anchorages, topography, settlements, fortifications (including Castle Cornet, Fort George, Vale Castle, Fort Saumarez, Doyle Fort and Fort le Merchant), land marks, sight lines, remarks (including 'Note The parts in outline and in Pencil are not finally ascertained') and explanatory key. English and French. Colour manuscript. North point (variation in remarks). Scale: 10.25 inches to 3 nautical miles; 10 inches to 6000 yards. 'Surveyed by order of the Lords Commifsioners [Commissioners] of the Admiralty by Anthony Lockwood Maritime Surveyor Guernsey 5 July 1806'. Annotated (in red ink): '784'
