The Crowborough Gas Company is to be dissolved and its operation taken over by the Tunbridge Wells Gas Company. O.S. maps show:

a) intended limits of supply, including existing area (centred on Tunbridge Wells); existing limits of the supply area of the Crowborough Gas Company; proposed extended limits (wholly in Kent). East Sussex parishes wholly or partly included in the supply areas are Crowborough, Mayfield, Buxted, Hadlow Down and Rotherfield in Uckfield Rural District, Hartfield and Withyham inEast Grinstead Rural District, and Frant in Ticehurst Rural District. Locations of the works of the two Gas Companies are shown, and of the gasholder of the Crowborough Company.

b) intended additional lands at the Tunbridge Wells Gas Works at Southborough (Kent).
