Folio 103. Draft letter from The Local Government Board to James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 9 February 1885 which included the observations of the Local Board upon the memorial forward to him on 21 January 1885. The Board will direct a local inquiry to be held as soon as is possible upon the application of the East Local Board for a provisional order under the Gas and Water Works Facilities Act 1870, 33 & 34 Vic c 70.
