Dated 23 November 1776. Bequests to (1) Charles Schuman of Coventry, silkman (see PA 171/3/1) and John Whitewell of Coventry, executors of the testator, 2 guineas gratuity to each party (2) Anne Brockhurst, wife of the testator, a house on the North Side of Jordan Well Street occupied by the Testator (3) John Brockhurst, son of the testator, a house on the North Side of Jordan Well Street occupied by John Planter, the property is to be held to the use of Anne Brockhurst and kept in good repair (4) Samuel Brockhurst, grandson of the testator, the house devised to Anne Brockhurst in Jordan Well Street on her death and in default of heirs to James Wyatt, grandson of the testator (5) John Brockhurst and his heirs an annuity of £10.18s. on the house bequeathed to him in Jordan Well Street, in default of heirs to Samuel Brockhurst, grandson of the testator and in default of heirs to Samuel Brockhurst to James Wyatt, grandson of the testator (4) Samuel Brockhurst, grandson, an annuity of £10.18s for life, payable in weekly installments of 4s. from the property bequeathed to Anne Brockhurst after her death (7) to Samuel Brockhurst, grandson of the testator, all of the testator's wearing apparell. (8) to Mary daughter of the testator, wife of James Wyatt, tallow chandler £20 for mourning (9) to the widow of the testator, the residue and profits of the estate after the payment of funeral expenses, after her death all household goods and fixtures, with the exception of a cup and two spoons of silver, are to be left to John Brockhurst, son of the testator (10) Mary daughter of the testator, wife of James Wyatt tallow chandler, a silver cup and two silver spoons (11) Samuel Brockhurst and James Wyatt, grandsons of the testators two sums of £60 and £100 to be paid after the death of the widow of the testator. If Samuel Brockhurst dies before the widow of the testator the monies are to be divided equally between his children on attaining the age of 21. (12) Anne and Hannah Wyatt, granddaughters of the testator £100 each, to be held to the use of the widow of the testator and to be paid on the granddaughters reaching the age of 21. (13) Samuel Brockhurst's share is to be devised on James Wyatt, grandson of the testator if he dies without heirs.
