Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Albion Lodge [Antients] and general correspondence relating to the running of the lodge. Includes copy minutes of the lodge. Years 1798, 1801, 1807 and 1809 - 1812 are not extant.

Administrative / biographical background

The Albion Lodge No. 196 was established in 1790 and named in 1794. In 1790 the lodge met at the Masons' Arms, Bridgetown, Barbados. The lodge has met in many rooms and taverns across the Island and it now meets at the Masonic Hall, Bridgetown, Barbados.
