Description (What the record is about)
-
Architects' drawings up to 1907, plus some architectural material
The majority of the drawings listed here are by the two Scotts. Some are signed and dated but many are not and their styles were so similar that no attempt has been made to distinguish them. The other principal hand is presumably that of another member of the firm who specialised on the engineering side. A number of the plans are drawn by one hand and annotated by another and occasional notes are added probably by Thomas Burton, the clerk of works at Norwich.
