The Royal Ark Lodge was established in 1799 and named in 1801. In 1799 the lodge met at the Acorn Tavern, Rotherhithe Street, Rotherhithe, London. The lodge lapsed about 1806. The warrant and number of this Lodge transferred to Kingsand [Cawsand], Plymouth, where Lodge of Fidelity, No. 230 [SN 1555] was consecrated on 31 October 1810.
