Description

Her debts and funeral expenses to be paid from any profits from her discovery of a method for finding longitude and also to pay all her just debts contracted since she was discharged from the Fleet Prison by an Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors. To her late servant, Mrs. Arabella Greenhill - £100 and an annuity of £40. To her present servant, Anne Smith - £50 and an annuity of £20. To her late servant, Catherine Blew - £20 and an annuity of £10. To her kinsman, William Bower, esq., and her friends, John Woodward, John Grandprie and Francis Welles - £1000 each. Woodward, Grandprie and Welles made executors. The residue of her estate to be divided amongst her two nephews, Sir George and Bryan Cooke, and her three nieces, Priscilla, Catherine and Elizabeth Cooke, all sons and daus. of the testator's late sister, Priscilla Cooke, decd.
