Having read in the public papers that water works have recently been erected at Colchester, the writer asks to be favoured with the name and address of the patentee who furnished the pipes and with any information likely to be of use to the inhabitants (of Shrewsbury) "who are desirous of taking some steps for incurring a better supply of water". On dorse. "30 August 1809. To the Mayor of Colchester.
