Parties: 1. Raynold Legh of the blakebruck Esq.
2. Roger Downes of Worth Esq.
Covenant made by consent of Mistress Mary wife of Raynold Legh who renounces claims of dower, for the release from Reginald to Roger of an acre of land called the morehouse or the Whote Crofte in (K)naugreve which is to be recovered in an action pending between Raynold and the Burgesses of Stockeport (the Burges of -), in respect of which action, Roger agrees to deliver back as needed to Raynold 8 peices of evidence concerning the sd.land which Raynold had given to him. Both parties agree to refer any matter of dispute in the transaction to Thomas Hyde and John Torkyngton.
