Description

LEASE (Cp.) for 3 lives, by Hon. James Cholmondeley Esq. to Thomas Beswick of Runcorn, ropemaker --- a cottage and tenement in RUNCORN called Dewsburys tenement late in the holding of William Heward, with appurtenances (except a lane called Wills Lane in CLIFTON enclosed out of Runcorn Heath and adjoining the demesne of the said James Cholmondeley); for lives of the said Thomas Beswick, Sarah his wife and John Wrench, son of Randle Wrench of Astmore, yeoman, at an annual rent of 2/7, and a heriot of the best beast or good or £1. Cons. £3. Seal, red, armorial, on a bend 3 garbs between 3 doves. Parchment.
