Upon Alderman Cowper's motion (by the Mayor's leave) Trafford Barnston, Esq. was to be admitted to the freedom gratis.

The reading and proceeding on the orders of the last Assembly was respited till the next.
The Address congratulating the King on his marriage was read and approved. It was to be ingrossed sealed and presented by the Mayor, Lord Grosvenor and Thomas Grosvenor, Esq. Aldermen and Wilbraham Bootle, Esq.
A similar order was made concerning an address congratulating the Queen on her safe arrival in the kingdom and her marriage.
A similar order was made concerning an Address to the Princess Dowager of Wales on her son's marriage and support of the Protestant religion. [ZA/B/4/195]
The Thanks of the House were to be given to the Rt. Hon. William Pitt, late one of the principal Secretaries of State for his services and regret at his resignation. They were to be presented by the persons above named.
