Severely wounded Gaza 17/4/1917, gsw right thigh, left shoulder, left wrist. To UK on HMT Formosa and adm Prince of Wales Hospital 08/09/1917. Atrophy of right leg - walked with caliper and later surgical boot. Unfit for further service - relinquished commission 05/06/1918. War Pension £50 from 17/04/1918 to 10/04/1920 - not eligible after 1/9/1920.
