Letter of John O'Neal, Worshipful Master of the Union Lodge to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary concerning the ballot which took place for Brother James Fox to become a subscribing member of the lodge. Some of the members had black balloted [black balled] him, but nobody in the lodge would give a reason for this behaviour.
