William Billing, jun., master, and William Billing, sen., mariner, of the ship Fair Trader, testified that they shipped 8 tons of white salt at Bristol, duty paid, on 8 November, to be carried to Botreaux Castle for Richard Kingdom, gent., and that 33 cwt. of the salt was lost due to windy weather.

Surveyor of Bridges (east) to repair bridges at Polston, Notter, Pollpaddick, Tideford and Hicks Mill, and that two bridge rates be levied; one gaol and marshalsea rate also to be levied.

Appeal of Andrew Harpur, Richard Andrew and John Trevena, against the poor-law assessment made for Redruth by Peter Winsor and Simon Hocking, churchwardens, and George Paddy and Henry Woolcock, overseers, on 5 February: rate quashed for insufficiency; costs to appellants.

Appeal by Thomas Richards against order of 10 January requiring him to pay a certain sum of money to Cuswarth Martin, tinner; and also appealing against a distress warrant against him at St Neot, dated 1 February: both to be reversed and discharged; costs to Thomas Richards.

Appeal of Lostwithiel against order of 6 April instant, for the removal of Jane Philp, wife of Thomas Philp, and children Mary (6), Charles (4) and Jane (2) to Lostwithiel from Lanlivery: held over.
