July 1721. He is travelling in France, Bonnell being his companion
References to the Buying of Books.
October. He is grateful for permission to return to England - he has been ill. Later in October, he has a relapse "je courus même très grand risque".
3 March, 1921/22.
He thanks his uncle for the Chambers in the Temple which belong to his nephew Hill and which he is kind enough to let (Thomas?) have. He will come to London when he is given orders to do so.
1722. He is given permission to go to Tunbridge.
1726. Richmond, November, 18.
In Thomas's hand, a copy of a letter written by Richard - he cannot think how the marriage should have fallen through - "I must confort myself with a belief that Marriages are made in heaven, and that my nephew has few friends there .." (Was this Rowland's marriage with the Bishop of Lichfield).
"My head and my memory does fail me every day and therefore I desire to be consulted in Nothing".
