Thomas Harwood to Richard Hill.
He received Hill's of the 3rd. He sent to Mr. Owen to treat with him further about the estate he offered, buthe had sold it 4 days before to an apothecary in Shrewsbury for more money - viz above £200. The Lithwood estate is of £70 p.a. "wch estate you were pleased to give to my son Thomas. He will not speak to Mr. Blakeway about Crompwell until Blakeway approaches him; he will speak to Mr. Mytton in the manner Hill orders.
He will make enquiries who has Doctor Chetwoods estate.
He does not believe Mr. Burton will dispose of the presentation of the vicarage of Atcham - he is landlord to one half of Atcham and a rich man. He lives at Evesham in Worcestershire and comes to Shropshire once or twice a year.
Last Thursday by Thomas Evans carrier, to be next Thursday at the Bell or Castle Inn in Woodstreet, was sent his wifes poor present of a pail of butter and a roll of brawn.
