Payments, re the charity school; wages of masters, bills of the carpenter, plasterer, and glazier, premiums paid out on apprenticing pupils, bills for the shoemaker and laundress, accountants wages.

ff.3,4. 30 June 1853. Receipts for the year from the estates of Baker's, Billing's and Crow's Charities, and a years rent of the Cow Lane School House, with balance in hand. Expenditure, apprentices premiums, years subscription to the school of art, salaries of the school and drilling masters, books and stationery, repairs to premises, coal for house and school, taxes, 6d. each to 69 boys, and accountants salary.

Receipts from all property of the charities lands, giving name of tenant and dividends on stocks and shares and bank interest. Expenditure, re the charity school; gas, the masters' salary, coal subscriptions to the College of Art, apprenticeship premiums, books and clothing for the pupils and monies paid to the charity commissioners for investment.
