Gift by James I and VI for £104. 18s. 6½d to Sir Wilfrid Lawson of Isel, knight, and Matilda his wife, and to their heirs for ever - the Manor of Isel and Lordship of Blindcrake (Isel being herein "Isale alias Isell", also "Ishall"; and Blindcrake being herein "Blencrake"), as lately held by Sir William Leigh, knight, and Isabella his wife; reciting the descent from Edmund de Multon through Leigh; together with the following:

What, Where: 2 carucates of demesne land in Isel

Total Annual value: 40s. 0d.

What, Where: All demesne meadows in Isel

Total Annual value: 13s. 4d.

What, Where: The herbage of our park in Isel called "le Newparke"

What, Where: The 15 houses ("mansiones") with their dependent 15 small closes in the park called "Aldeparke" in Isel
