28 traverse observation books (numbered A41 to A69) labelled 'field book' or 'field copy'. Traverse observation books A70 to A98 were not present on transfer. However, office copies of these are filed at TRIG/26. Used in the compilation of Geographical Section, General Staff No. 4044, 7 sheets at scale 1:250,000 dated 1941 filed at Maps X.6262.
