Map of Common Lands in the Parish of Mid Lavant. Inclosure. [Surveyed by John Elliott, Chichester.] About 26.6 in. to 1 m.
About 70a., i.e. Mid Lavant Common, in the area of the present Huntersrace Farm in S.W. of parish, and 26a., i.e. that portion of Lavant Marsh approximately between the villages of East and Mid Lavant. Shows a public and a private carriage road as allotted; allotment for the labouring poor. Award, 1856; John Stapley of Worthing, land surveyor, valuer.
