This is the pass-book of the grandfather of the depositor who came from Lazdijai near Bialystok, Vilna and Marienpol. He was a master tailor whose sons founded the firm, still in existence, of Kauffman Bros. in Leeds. His wife Fanny Slaminsky came from Kalvarija.
