Appointed by a resolution of the Vestry of 13 Dec 1783 to draw up a case and investigate proofs on behalf of the parish against the claims of the curate, Rev S. Peach, and titheman to burial fees [see also 2414/1/62-92] pp.8 and 9 contain resolution to pay moiety of fees to officiating minister. The committee continued in existence and dealt with matters relating to pews and the organisation of the workhouse.
