Description

By Richard, the Abbot, and Convent of Glastonbury, to Thomas Uphamms,of the reversion, on the death of John FitzJames, Knt. Chief Justice of Common Pleas, and Elizabeth his wife, of the whole farm and pasture called Luyde within the parish of Yevyll (Yeovil). (late Sir John Byconelle); for a period of 61 years at a rent of £10 perannum.

Dated, at the Chapter House, 9 Aug 1530.

With fine Abbey seal, chipped.
