Title
Bundle of unsigned letters from [Elizabeth Wyndham afterwards wife of George Grenville. She was the daughter of Sir William Wyndham who had married Lady Blandford, sister of Isabella, Countess of Denbigh] to the same, the majority of them unaddressed. The letters many of which are not dated, were written from Sheen [Surrey]where Elizabeth lived with her step-mother from 1740 until her marriage in 1748] London, Comb and Stowe. The letters are full of social gossip but contain occasional references to politicalevents, such as the '45 rebellion.
