Between WILLIAM PECKHAM of Rumboldsweeke, gent., and Mary his wife, one of the daughters & co-heirs of John Pay sometime of Ancton, yeoman, deceased and THOMAS PECKHAM, son & heir apparent of the said William and Mary, of the 1st pt., RICHARD PECKHAM of Upmarden, gent., and ROBERT PECKHAM of Little Greene in Compton, Sussex, gent., of the 2nd pt. and THOMAS PECKHAM of Nyton in Aldingbourne, gent., and JOYCE PECKHAM, daughter and heir apparent of the said Thomas, of the 3rd pt.,--in consideration of an intended marriage between the said Thomas Peckham, son of William and Mary, and the said Joyce Peckham of a barn, buildings and land [described as in Release of 8 Oct. 1689, SAS-M/1/155] and a moiety of a messuage and lands [as in Deed of 15 July 1684, SAS-M/1/154]. Also a moiety of a garden with gates and lands [as in Deed of 26 Nov. 1650, SAS-M/1/150]
