Description

Collection of 15 loose gelatin silver prints of buildings in Lutyens' New Delhi, the majority dated in the negative. The photographs originally belonged to Sir Alexander Brebner, Chief Engineer in India and were later the property of his daughter Leslie Margaret Wallace Rich (b. Patna 1916; d. Edinburgh 2002), wife of William Harold Adrian Rich (1908-1989), Indian Police, and mother of the present donor.
