In 1818 Nehemiah Wimble, ironmonger, Samuel Flint, merchant, and Stephen Lowdell, ironmonger, sold a house, with blacksmith's shop and shoeing house on the side of White Lion Lane to John Pannett, carrier, and George Stanford, builder. In 1831 it was mortgaged to Francis Harding Gell and in 1866 Inigo Gell conveyed it to William Pannett who sold to Edward James in 1883, it now having a warehouse instead of blacksmith's shop and shoeing house.
