Description

Indenture made between James Fleming Baxter of Ludlow, esq. 2. Rev. Humphrey Sandford of Shrewsbury, 3. William Coupland of Shrewsbury gent. Agreement between Humphrey Sandford and James Fleming Baxter for the purchase in fee simple of advowson for £4670, Humphrey Sandford desires that the chapelry, rectory etc. shall be limited and assured to uses and trusts, with the power therein declared, to prevent any wife of his from being dowable. Receipt for sum from James Fleming Baxter, and grant and release to Humphrey Sandford of advowson, glebe land etc to the use of Humphrey Sandford during his lifetime. After the determination of the estate by any manner during his lifetime, to the use of William Coupland and his heirs, during the lifetime of Humphrey Sandford.
