Actuality recordings for 'Strike!' dating from 1964 and 1965; soundtrack recordings for a television documentary programme on the 1926 General Strike, entitled 'Nine Days in '26' made by the Hungarian born documentary maker Robert Vas in 1974. The production was postponed because of a forthcoming General Election. These recordings use actuality interviews carried out for 'Strike!' but include narration, music and sound effects. There are also two actuality recordings made in 1975 with women in Birmingham about their memories of the 1920s and the General Strike, which may have been intended for use in the Robert Vas documentary.

Charles Parker was technical consultant on actuality sound for a Royal Shakespeare Company documentary theatre production on the 1926 General Strike. It was intended to be shown at the Aldwych Theatre in London but was cancelled before production.
