Description

Concerns: attempting to heed Conway's advice to keep quiet about the affairs in Ireland; his belief that Colonel Conway's negotiation will make for a quiet session; an account from Quinn of the 3rd Duke's answer to Conway's letter; meeting the Duke of Grafton at White's and news of the Irish difficulties ending according to the Duke of Newcastle and also a matter concerning the French ambassador. Written from London. Signed 'Devonshire'.
