These papers were retrieved by David Collier, now of Kanady Cottage, Knightcote, Warwickshire in 1977.

Coldhurst Mill was built in 1875 by the Coldhurst Cotton Spinning Company Ltd.. It was taken over c.1920 by George Clegg (Oldham) Ltd. who operated the Mill until closure in August 1962. From 1962 until 1967 it was used as a warehouse and was finally demolished in 1977.
