Petition written by Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary and completed by prospective members of Lodge at the White Hind Inn, Carter Gate, No. 132 [erased], Newark-upon-Trent seeking the transfer of a warrant previously held by Lodge, No. 102A [SN 535], Bewdley, Worcestershire, listing George Mackenzie, joiner, as Worshipful Master elect, from Lodge No. 860, meeting in the Elgin Fencibles, Grand Lodge of Ireland, Henry Liggan, flax and hemp dresser, from Lodge, No. 612, Baltylum, Grand Lodge of Ireland and Francis Shaw, brushmaker, from Lodge, No. 529, Antrim, Grand Lodge of Ireland, William Latham, millwright, former members of Newstead Lodge, No. 44 [SN 388], Nottingham; John Emmsom, master tailor and draper, former member of Lodge No. 846, meeting in the Tyrone Militia, Grand Lodge of Ireland; Joseph Harcher, shoemaker, former member of Lodge, No. 812, Augher, Co Tyrone, Grand Lodge of Ireland; John Walker, weaver, former member of Lodge, No. 428, Glenavy, Co. Antrim, Grand Lodge of Ireland and William Nailler, cutler, former member of Lodge, No. 28 (?No. 28B [SN 1372], Coast of Halifax, Nova Scotia). Petition recommended by Henry Marriott, Worshipful Master, William Luslane, Senior Warden, William Jones, Junior Warden and Thomas Addicott, Secretary of Newstead Lodge, No. 44 [SN 388], Nottingham. Endorsed by Thomas Harper, Deputy Grand Master, who asks Robert Leslie about the date of the last communication with Lodge, No. 102A [SN 535], Bewdley, Worcestershire, which Leslie confirms as 26 May 1788. Harper mentions that he has received no communications from Stockport or Newcastle on other Masonic matters.

This unnamed Lodge was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge to meet as No. 107B at Newark in December 1806. The Lodge met at the White Hind Inn, Carter Gate, relocated to the White Lion Inn, Stodman Street in 1807 and met at the White Hind Inn, Carter Gate, Newark-?upon-?Trent, Nottinghamshire from 1808. The Lodge returned its warrant in January 1813 but was granted a number to meet as No. 132 after the union between the Antients' and Moderns' Grand Lodges in 1813 to form the United Grand Lodge of England. The Lodge appears in the Masonic Calendar for 1815, issued in 1814.
