Bromsgrove officer killed.
News has been received in Brom^rove that
Ueut. Alexander Duncan, Manchester Regiment,
gtoached Machine Gun Corps, wae killed in action
On March 25th. Lieut. Duncan, whose home wae
to Manchester, wae a designer at the Bromsgrove
Guild. He joined the Artist Rifles in May, 1015,
•nd traihed with them until ho received his
commission in the Manchester in October of
the same year. He served with this unit until
early in 1016, when he wae seconded and traus-
tored to the Machine Gun Corps. In October
1016, he sustained a bullet wound through the
right atm and in the chest, returning to the front
toet July. He had been on leave recently, and
rejoined at the front only a week before his death.;
