The Battle solicitors Raper & Fovargue (formerly Tilden-Sampson, Barton and Bellingham, Bellingham & Ellman and Raper & Ellman) have been frequent depositors at East Sussex Record Office. They have also over the years allowed the Battle Historical Society access to their strongrooms, and several accessions from the Society are clearly from that source (see, for example, ACC 2449)
