Proposals re. procuring £200 from Governors of Queen Anne's Bounty to augment curacy of Sherburne: Thomas Carew advanced £50, bishop of Worcestor will give £20, Mr. Marshall £20 and Mr. Mills £10; to procure further £100 wanting proposed that Thomas Webb give £50 and lend another £50; further proposed that Mr. Marshall and Mr. Mills pay interest at 4 per cent for last mentioned £50 from March 25, 1754, to March 25, 1756, that by latter date determined whether Mr. Wm. Marshall will continue in Essex or return to curacy of Sherburne, if he return then he shall repay Mr. Webb £50, if Mr. Mills at that time continues to enjoy curacy then he to repay Mr. Webb above £50, if both quit curacy before 25 March 1756 then £50 not to be repaid to Mr. Webb.
