Description

1 - 3 A few more photographs taken from the side of the shed. Slightly different angle from the previous ones. I must have moved the camera whilst changing the film. From here it's just a short distance to Albert Hulme's estate. It's adjacent. A rough track separates the two estates.

4 - 18 Another visit to Albert Hulme's, more photographs of his estate taken as I wandered about somewhat aimlessly. They don't really add to what I've done before - with the possible exception of neg. no. 16. I'm reasonably happy with the arrangement of the buildings in this image.

Note

Rolleiflex 3.5F.

Agfapan 100 (80 ASA) Rodinal 1:60. 10½ mins at 68°F

(using new spiral in developing tank - an attempt to get rid of the air bubble marks on the negatives).

The lighting is perfect, and was all day. This is apparent in the print, which has not been manipulated in any way. I like the shape and form of the buildings in this image.</p> <p>Negative c7/1/10/16</p> <p>Work Print c7/3/10/16</p> <p>CH : 520 mm</p> <p>Exposure : F22 @ 21s</p> <p>Paper : Gr 2 (G)</p> <p>Comments : Roads and tracks often feature in my photographs. Here I wanted to exclude the buildings on the left and concentrate on the line of the track, which is mirrored by the line of the sheds and telegraph poles.</p> <p>Once again very good light. Straight print.</p></span>
