Feoffment : Sir Henry Halsall to Richard Halsall, clerk, James son of H., Thomas Heskeyn and Henry Halsall, chaplains -- messuage in Scaresbrek and Hurdleton in the tenure of Robert Morecroft; in Dounholand in the tenure of George Shagh; in Halsall in tenure of John Ricerson; and in Snape in tenure of Edward Johnson, and Douce, widow of Richard Blundell -- to stand feoffees after death of H.H. If Edward or George by marriage receive above £4 annually they were to have no claim. Seal fragment.
