6th August 9 Eliz. Indenture Parties Thomas Nice of Ince in Makerfielde, one part, George Leigh of of Pemberton husbandman & Margaret Aynscow, daughter of Robert Ainscow of the other part.
Lease in consideration of £10. to George & Margaret of all that pasture called by the name of the Grenefylde, and all that Croft in Nice late in the occupation of Cyoyly Browne, widow, commonly called the Tagge, and also one sufficient Rowne in Ince Moss for Turbary there of the yearly rent of 24/- for the term of the lives of George & Margarett & longer living at the yearly rent of 24/- & fynes etc, & 2 hens & 2 capons at Xmas & four days ploughing yearly.
