For records of Smyrna Street, see CAR. For records of Wesley Methodist Church see CPW. These records were deposited via Bolton Methodist District in 1999, and by Radcliffe Methodist circuit in 2000.

Administrative / biographical background

Formed as a Mission from the society at Smyrna Street in 1891, the church and Sunday school opened in January 1892. There was also subsequently a day school. In 1963 it amalgamated with two other societies to form the new Wesley Methodist Church.
