Photozincographs made by the Surveyor General's Office, Calcutta, after sketches made by G.W. Bartram, FRS, in Nov/Dec 1878. The prints are tied together in a roll and represent topographical views at the time of the 2nd Afghan War. Locations include Chura (Bazar Valley), Buddhist ruins near Niki Kheyl, Dakka end of the Khyber Pass, last tower of Cheena (Bazar Valley). Ali Musjid, road under Landi Kotal, Dakka and Lalpoora forts. Process = Photozincographs.
