(a) Draft of Lease: Samuel Barker of Lyndon, co. Rutland, esq., to William Bains and Robert Bains of Wing, co. Rutland, farmers: a close called Furze Close in LYNDON, excepting all timber, trees, woods, and underwoods, other than hedgeboot and stakeboot, and all mines, quarries and other royalties, together with the trenches bringing water to Samuel's house and Land Close, with liberty for Samuel to clean them: to hold for 12 years, paying yearly rent of £58 upon usual 2 feast days by equal portions, and £5 for every acre ploughed up without consent of lessor, (etc.) (b) Draft Articles of Agreement, dated 25th March 1714, between the above parties, and containing the gist of the conditions of the above lease.
