This material comprises publications of the Indian Workers Association (GB) led by Avtar Jouhl and Teja Singh Sahota, as well as publications by the Indian Workers Association (GB) led by Prem Singh, and the Indian Workers Association (GB) group led by Naranjan Singh Noor which split from the Indian Workers Association (GB) Prem Singh in 1983 in a dispute over Naranjan Singh Noor's involvement in the case of Bulbinder Singh Bhamra, a Wolverhampton schoolboy excluded for wearing a turban in 1979.
The papers consist of pamphlets produced by the organisations, mainly focusing on issues of policy of different sections of the organisation; and a number of leaflets and flyers produced by the Indian Workers Association (GB) led by Avtar Jouhl and Teja Singh Sahota giving details about protest marches and rallies but also social and cultural events organised by the Association
