2. Richard Colley of Kidderminster mercer

Gitton with John Brooke of Bridgnorth gentleman have conveyed by moieties to Richard Colley a messuage called St. Johns (late the estate of Richard Cresswell esq. decd. ) in the Lower Town of Bridgnorth.

Onemoiety was conveyed by Cresswell to John Ryder decd. who devised it to his son William who afterwards conveyed to John Brooke.

The other moiety Cresswell conveyed to Thomas Gitton by deeds which Gitton acknowledges to have in his custody or power, and is to keep them in trust as well for himself as for Colley to be produced at any time to support the title and interest of Richard Colley his heirs and assigns:-

(1) 19 and 20 July 1723 1. Rebecca Taylor widow 2. Richard Cresswell esq. 3. John Greenly esq., John Harding clerk, Edward Cressett and Corbett Kynaston esq. Settlement previous to marriage of Richard Cresswell and Rebecca Taylor, conveying the messuage and other property to trustees to uses declared.

(2) 20 Nov. 1724 Deed poll of Rebecca then wife of Richard Cresswell (in pursuance of powers reserved to her in the settlement) appointing that the premises inter alia shall remain from her decease to the use of Richard Cresswell his heirs and assigns.

(3) 15 and 16 Jan. 1728 1. Richard Cresswell 2. John Ryder Mortgage to secure £627 and interest.

(4) Chirgraph of fine Trinity 2 Geo II Thomas Gitton and John Ryder plts, Richard Cresswell deforciant, of 2 messuages, 2 barns, 4 stables, 4 gardens, 2 orchards, 30 acres land, 20 acres meadow, 20 acres pasture, and common of pasture in the parish of St. Mary Magdalen.

(5) 10 and 11 Sept. 1735. 1. John Ryder 2. Richard Cresswell, 3. Thomas Gitton. 4. George Ryder. Conveyance of the premises inter alia to George Ryder to use of John Ryder and Thomas Gitton their heirs and assigns as tenants in common to secure several sums of money.

(6) 6 and 7 Nov. 1741. 1. Richard Cresswell 2. John Ryder and Thomas Gitton

Conveyance of the premises inter alia to them to hold as tenants in common discharged of all provisos and equity of redemption.

(7) 17 May 1750. Deed poll of Thomas Escourt Cresswell esq. son and heir of Richard releasing the premises inter alia and all his estate and interest.

Covenant to produce these deeds on reasonable request. (Damage by fire or accident excepted).
