This collection is a selection of correspondence files originally kept in boxes at the Woolwich Memorial Hospital, Shooters Hill, Woolwich, London SE18 3RZ. The Woolwich Group Hospital Management Committee was set up in 1948 and correspondence and related papers in their files run from this date until 1974. Subjects covered include Medical Planning, Medical Records, Nursing Services, National Health Service Registration and the British Hospital for Mothers and Babies.
