He thanks him for his of the 10th by the last post "I did not expect lesse from Mr. Cullyford then all his endeavours having lately served him in a matter he put a great stresse upon though inconsiderable in it selfe...."

Bristol is the most convenient port for him to bring his wine from Dublin, and in a man of war, the safest. Dawson knows Capt. Cannock who cammands one of the Irish men of war, the safest. He always has his wine in bottles - that being the safest from the danger of the seamen and being spoiled in the cask. The last parcel of 24 dozen was put up in 3 dry casks and he would have Mr. Dawson do the same again. He sent for wine to Exeter who furnished the best that place could afford - he had three glasses at dinner and it made him sick all night. He hopes Sir Harry Furnesse will assist him.

Post script. Pray Mr. Dawson in mind that the wine be drawn of fine for that is sometimes wanting in the wine from thence.
